Probably the most dreaded words on the net. Why?? Why can they not figure out how to make this stuff globally available?
What I'm talking about is something I didn't realise you could do. Purchase digital quality downloads of tv eps from Amazon. They have started offering Supernatural S2 and I got emailed about it and it was JUST TO TAUNT ME WITH SOMETHING I CANNOT HAVE!!!!
Bah! I say bah!
There was all kinds of things. I wanted a download of Little Miss Sunshine but I cannot have it.
Again? Bah!

Like SG-1 is running in the UK but I can't d/l eps from iTunes until they air here. Probably an advertising thing.
The movie doesn't make any sense to me though.

To put them onto iTunes might generate income - but not for Skiffy. MGM and iTunes certainly. Ergo, they want to have the first air and get some of the money they put into the show back in advertising revenue.
Not only that but not everyone who watches the show would want to download at $2 a pop just to see it before they get it on cable. Nor do they have the technical wizardry either...
Or at least - that's what it seems like. I'm not 100% sure, I'm a librarian fercryingoutloud!
More to the point - at least in America, you have the iTunes route. The rest of the world doesn't (or at least UK/Europe/Austrailia)

It's just damn frustrating. I have to wait for every tv show... the ones that actually make it here that is and our free to air sucks donkeys. They mess up the order of eps, will randomly change the times eps are shown, won't screen it altogether etc etc etc...
