-> ucp_ficathon assignments are nearly done... just two people to email me back and I can send them out. Surprisingly (or not so for people... you know, smarter than me) was matching stuff up. I live in a sheltered little alcove of fandom and forget that other people, you know... don't.

It happened to me a while ago. I didn't do it because 1) it would have taken way too much time, and 2) too damned annoying. Not like this person couldn't do that for him/herself. So I gave a noncommittal answer which was: Yeah, if I have time, maybe. I know, it was a cop-out. I saved this fic in chapters, so I didn't have a completed copy. So, it guess it depends on how long the story is and how much hassle you want to deal with.

i think its weird cause well, why cant they do it themselves? if its a shorter story then maybe, but if not then i wouldnt go through all the trouble.

True, although the comm it's on is copy protected so you can't. But then, I can't either unless I hit edit on each chapter and meh... I would do it for one of you guys but not some random person... :)

If I had a single textfile already and it was easy I might send it on -- otherwise like others have said I'd just let them know that I didn't have a single textfile on hand, so they might want to just copy/paste in Word.

It's not *that* hard to send a text/word file on. But. *shrug* Never had anyone ask, so...
