The most awful, heartbreaking horrendous day was had yesterday.
I feel run over and powerless. Cried all the way into work this morning because I just didn't want to face it after what happened.
Can't really talk about it more than that because I don't really know what the rules are about that kind of thing but I would appreciate anyone telling me about GOOD news, about things that made them smile yesterday.
Help me brush back the curtains and let the sunshine in.
ETA: You guys are awesome and are making me smile when I didn't think I could.

Well, yesterday I watched (so I could be trained in) and 'early learners' science presentation/experiments. 3-4 year olds getting to play with all sorts of science toys (wooden kangaroos that hop when you get them on the right slope and birds that balance on their beak when you rest them on your elbow are awesome!). My friend who was training me was doing things like "So you're going to listen with your knees?" and the kids chorus of "No, your ears" was hilarious.
