Or more accurately dust.

*coughs*

We're having a severe dust storm at the moment and the air is red, there's red dust covering everything including my car and we had a severe thunder storm last night.

I woke up to no hot water, no TV reception and no power in my end of the under-building car garage.

All I can think when I look outside is Silent Hill because it looks like that's where I'm living.

That, or Mars.

Eep!

I wish I didn't have to - but lack of hot water and TV prompted me to make the trek to work because they have showers here.

I *nearly* couldn't come in because the underbuilding garage has a storm door which closed off between our section and the other side and since the power was out I didn't think I could get my car out of the garage. Darn it, you can prop the storm door open and the other side was working. Boo! :D

It was a bit skeery driving though because it really looked like red fog once I got on the M5 and they keep opening and closing the M5 because the air quality was going up and down. I snuck through in between openings.

*nods* We have power, so we're all good on that front. On the other hand, I really can't afford to miss the day of the PhD.

The rest of the building has power - I think we just lost external power which affects the garage and unfortunately, apparently the hot water. D'oh!

I'm hoping it will all magically be fixed by the time I get home. :D
