I always likes these kinds of things because my cutting room floor for stories is always cluttered with bits and pieces that I never actually put in. Plus, I'm a worldbuilder so even the shortest stories take up too much extraneous brain space with all the little details that don't even make it into the stories.

Oh decisions, decisions...How about Corner of the Eye? I adore it and the ending - it wrapped up beautifully, making the reader wonder what Sam last saw...my money's on Bob, btw ;-)

Just got that request above actually, heh - Corner of the Eye was inspired by this absolutely dreadful scifi novel I read a loooong time ago where kids who were playing a video game started seeing shadows at the very edge of their vision. The book was pretty crap but the idea had always stayed with me.
