I always likes these kinds of things because my cutting room floor for stories is always cluttered with bits and pieces that I never actually put in. Plus, I'm a worldbuilder so even the shortest stories take up too much extraneous brain space with all the little details that don't even make it into the stories.

Comment with a story I've written, and I will tell you something about the story that didn't make it onto the page.

Ooh, that fic where Dean and Sam have each other's daemons!

Originally it was actually Sam who had the imaginary friends and it was a totally different story. But... I had written about 2/3 of it and when I read it through again I noticed... John never acknowledged Sam in the diner and it just... clicked.

I read somewhere that having a Daemon the same sex as the person was either a sign of liking the same sex or having an extra sensory gift of some kind. That's why Sam's daemon was a male. I kind of thought about the fact that it would be the daemon that had the visions.

Sam never tells Daniel but I think he remembers eventually.

The SGA crossover 'verse (My Daddy Didn't Have Days Like This & My Daddy Was A Soldier Man), please. OH OH OH, or Here Be Dragons/Corner Of The Eye fics. Those are fascinating! *nods rapidly*

*bites lip* Can I have both? Please? *puppy-dog eyes*

Thank you! =)

Oh decisions, decisions...How about Corner of the Eye? I adore it and the ending - it wrapped up beautifully, making the reader wonder what Sam last saw...my money's on Bob, btw ;-)

So hard to pick just one but... How 'bout "A world of his own making"? That one still gets to me...

Hmmm... the crossover 'verse I only meant for that to be the original snippet I wrote. I don't know where the other two longer stories came from... heh.

Corner of the Eye was inspired by a terrible old scifi novel where kids playing a video game started seeing shadows at the very corner of their vision.

The crossover 'verse was only supposed to be that first teeny snippet. I obviously can't leave verses alone.

Corner of the Eye was inspired by this absolutely dreadful scifi novel I read a loooong time ago where kids who were playing a video game started seeing shadows at the very edge of their vision. The book was pretty crap but the idea had always stayed with me.

Just got that request above actually, heh - Corner of the Eye was inspired by this absolutely dreadful scifi novel I read a loooong time ago where kids who were playing a video game started seeing shadows at the very edge of their vision. That quite honestly started off as a generic kid!fic. Sam was cursed and Dean was going to find out how it happened and reverse it.

Yay for annoying fic ideas and crappy books! \o/

Thank you! =)
