I think, somewhere in the world, it might be Rex Manning Supernatural day.

Hehe... I've seen this a couple of places...

The Hypothetical AU Meme: Take any one of the fandoms you know I write in (or think I should), and give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU, Ancient Rome, etc). I will then explain what story from your chosen fandom I would write for your chosen type of AU.

I've always enjoyed space pirate AU, myself. I can so picture Dean with an Impala-like ship.

Ah yes.

Dean is the pilot of a liveship known as an Impala enslaved to military service and he is bonded to it. His brother had joined the space corps but found out they were more corrupt than the criminals they chased and Sam comes back to his brother and they both break free, taking the Impala with them and go in a really big crime spree, but everyone actually loves and protects them because they hate the space corps.

Ahhh, have you read the Robin Hobb series with liveships? I've only gotten thru the first (too busy with fanfic to read actual books, but... Good stuff.)

Oh yes, I love those books.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Farscape type of living ship but this works just as well if not better because the Impala could talk and be a little quirky... hehehe!
