Never, ever, EVER will I again wait 15 years between dentist visits. I'm just going through an ongoing treatment hell... Fillings today, on opposite sides so the parts of my face that aren't numb feel twice the size.
Anyway, I'm determined not to be blue about it. The sun is shining, I'm not at work (and have the day off tomorrow) and I had a good weekend.

"Not exactly what you were expecting?"
Jonas turns and sees Daniel Jackson standing behind him, in a field of fresh flowers. There's a glow about him and Jonas fights the urge to shield his eyes.
"No, not exactly. Where am I?"
"In your bed at home," Daniel says with a small smile. "Surrounded by loved ones, slowing losing your grip on life.
"Oh," Jonas says, crestfallen. "So this is a dream then?"
"Not exactly, no," Daniel says. He holds out a hand. "I'm here to offer you a choice and a helping hand," he says and Jonas opens his mouth and then closes it again.
"Oh."
