Never, ever, EVER will I again wait 15 years between dentist visits. I'm just going through an ongoing treatment hell... Fillings today, on opposite sides so the parts of my face that aren't numb feel twice the size.

Anyway, I'm determined not to be blue about it. The sun is shining, I'm not at work (and have the day off tomorrow) and I had a good weekend.

Any character/pairing from the fandoms I usually write get a happy ending. Either canon or from my stories... (want to know what ultimately happens to the zombie!bunnies?)

Only exclusion is any ongoing verse... ;)

Happy ending for Sam from "A World of His Own Making"

It was a lot of time and a lot of hurt but they eventually ran Sam to ground. Bobby performed the ritual to burn the power out of him and when it was done, Sam was left gasping and flailing on the floor.

And Sam.

For the first time in nine years.

Now he sits at a table, crayon on his hand, painstakingly scribing his name. It's slow going, the road back will be long and arduous. There's no guarentee there will be a full recovery...

But.

Dean sits opposite, reading a book and looking up every now and again to make sure Sam is still working. "C'mon now," he says or, "You can do it, you got this."

The first time Sam makes it all the way across the room on his own two feet, Dean is grinning like he's won the lottery. Sam is smiling too, kind of lopsided since his face doesn't want to cooperate like it used to but he manages to get out, "Dean!" clear as a bell.

Bobby, who'd been visiting, never felt the need to rib Dean about the tears he shed that day. Mostly because he'd had to wipe away a tear or two himself.
