-> Finished my Avengers xchange fic just in time for my posting date today. PHEW!

-> Okay, tumblr lesson learned for the day, IS NOT A WORK SAFE ACTIVITY. That's going to be an at home activity only from now on, yikes!

-> I'm not sure I'm getting the podfics done BEFORE Xmas so they will be January gifts! Basically, my flatmates were kind of hermiting in their room up until last week when I started doing the pod stuff and suddenly they are not! They are in the loungeroom and making food in the kitchen and basically being background noise, heh. Once I'm on leave I can stay up late when it's quiet to get stuff done. They were out on the weekend so I set up to record and that's when my neighbours decided to have fifteen or so kids tromp up and down the stairs outside our apartment door for like two hours, I'm not even kidding. It was constant noise without respite. The podding gods are against me.

-> Just need to get [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_xmas fic done. Almost there!

/delurk I recommend trying out two tumblr addons: Missing E and Tumblr Savior.

The former gives you a ton of very useful features that really should be baseline, including the option to have all images be gray placeholders until you mouse over them if you'd like. Tumblr Savior collapses posts containing words that you've put on your blacklist and vice versa. (You can click on the collapsed bits if you want to peek) However I will note that TS is dependent on cookies so if you're in the habit of clearing cookies every exit, your lists may end up getting wiped. Minor annoyance for me though)

Seconding both of these suggestions!

Tumblr Savior is a lifesaver for work-blogging. I block "nsfw" and "nws"--and you should check the "Match whole words only" and "show tags from hidden posts". Otherwise it randomly blocks all sorts of posts that are perfectly work-safe, and with the tags you can get a good idea of what's in the post.

Thanks guys!

I might check out the missing-e thing because the actual porn that turned up on my dash wasn't tagged. :(
