So I've been reading about the livejournal changes with increasing fretfulness... mostly because I wanted to stick with LJ, I wanted it to be a bitter end type dealie, but the upheavals seem to be enough to prompt people to actually migrate where the blackouts etc couldn't. It *might* be like those times where everyone thought they would have to leave but then no one really did but I just get this feeling that it's bigger than that this time.

I kinda want to hold onto this account until the lights are shut off, but I might start updating my Dreamwidth more regularly (I run an import every few weeks, or MEAN to but the last one I left for longer than that) or work out this crossposting thing. I LIKE my LJ, it's taken me a long time to get it exactly the way I want it and I resist change at the best of times (which is kinda funny, since my job is Change Management... heh).
I also just... don't want to be forced into a tumblr like I was forced onto facebook. >:/ (There's only so many invites you can completely miss before you admit defeat).

Anyway, I'm [personal profile] kellifer over there. Let me know if I've missed subscribing you back, or you have a different ID on there.

In better news, first [livejournal.com profile] marvel_bang posting day in T-9ish hours (I have to wait to get home from work, boooo!).

I've done *nothing* with my DW account, but if LJ decide they're changing the style of my flist, this may be the final straw. There's one aspect of the change that I might like, but I don't think it'll be enough to outweigh the layout change...

I don't think I'm too worried about the changes, just the migrations it might spark. D:
