Fic recs... a Rec-rospective. Har har.

So, I've signed up for Remix_Redux... *bites nails*

There's been a few new people joining my journal of late (helloooo new people!) so thought it was about time I did a 'Fics I will always love' kinda thing.

If you haven't read these, you should because they are great. My flist is eclectic so my recs are too...

Firstly, one of my favourite SG-1 gen fics of all time. surrealphantast wrote Face Off which is team-y centric goodness at its best.

BSG The Prophet by doomcrayon is surreal and haunting. I tend not to read much BSG (other than lyssie's Kara/Anders which *everyone* should read because... yowzer!) because there doesn't seem to be a central comm for it like most other fandoms. Is there one because there certainly isn't a BSG_fic and there should be.

Of course there is The Dirt Of Sowing and Reaping which is SG-1 Apocafuturefic *and* threesome!fic... so yeah. I was completely helpless. It's also beautiful with a capital Guh.

Conversing With Cliffs is my all-time favourite Sam/Jack and it's not even smutty. *blinks* By Randomleaves.

I have to admit, that while there is the lure of pretty boys, it's the *gen* fiction in Supernatural fandom that has me hooked. A good example is Sleeping which is Sam-centric, teeny fic but powerful all the same.

I recently found an oldie by janedavitt. Exit, Stage Left. It's a Angel final episode coda and... yeah, I would've liked to have seen this. Also in Jossverse, Oz/Cordelia in Be Forever Now by poisontaster

Kid!fic at it's finest. SGA What Happens In The Clubhouse by skoosiepants.

Jim/Ryan Office!fic is Not In Love With The Modern World by sophia_helix.

This is only the tip of the ocean, there's heaps more I love... but this is to get you started. Something I've been doing lately is checking out other people's Memories and I've found a goldmine... :)
