We don't really celebrate it here so the sentiment is mostly for my OS friends. No trick or treating or anything... I really felt deprived as a kid when I saw it in movies... :D We can't even carve pumpkins because we don't have suitable squishy ones. You'd pretty much break every knife in the house and your wrist trying to make a jack-o-lantern here.

I'm lacking a suitable spooky icon.

For your listening pleasure - Buffy Mix which is mostly score music plus a bunch of songs I don't think were on the actual soundtracks released.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I've always wondered about that. I mean, carve a pumpkin? Jesus, how hard would that be? I didn't know they had special squishy-type carving pumpkins in the US.

Yeah, it's a type of pumpkin we don't really get here... The insides are hard also, not pulpy which is why I have to lean my whole body-weight down on a knife when I'm cutting one in half.

We don't celebrate it in Sweden either, although the stores would like us to do so. *g*
We instead have "Alla helgons dag" the first Saturday between 31 oct – 6 nov and it has nothing to do with kids, candy or "scaring" people. We just put flowers on the loved ones graves and remembering the dead. Ops, sorry for the rant... ;0)

Pumpkins we have, but we don't carve in them.
