I have a pretty expansive DVD collection, mostly because if I like/love something, I can watch it over and over and over again. I'm kind of like that with a good story too. I'll get a hankering to read a particular book and it won't matter if I've read it dozens of times.

The stories below are some (I can remember, I'm probably missing a LOT) I could feasibly want to come back to, have a hankering for or just downright deserve more than one read. Snippets and the author's own summaries are included if what I say just won't do the story's awesomeness justice.

Below are Inception, Supernatural, DH4, Stargate: Atlantis, The Office (US) and CSI: Las Vegas (Yeah, I know. Greg/Nick is my secret OTP).

One-off stories

The Gay That It Is (Or: The Gayest Gen Story Ever) by [livejournal.com profile] gekizetsu, (SPN, Gen...ish) - Just... boys.

I'd Go Home If I Knew How To Get There by [livejournal.com profile] minervacat, (SGA, John/Rodney) - John gets a lot of concussions. Alot.

The Height of Technology is Frozen Pizza by [livejournal.com profile] hackthis - Live Free Or Die Hard, Matt/John.

The first time Matt calls McClane, it's because he ordered too much pizza. Not that there's such a thing as too much pizza, but if there is, then Matt would have it. Apparently, he took an Ambien instead of a Tylenol. He's just glad he's not outside in his underwear again. And to show McClane his gratitude, Matt hangs up after the first ring.

Wuss.

With Crooked Hands by [livejournal.com profile] annakovsky, (The Office, apocafic, Jim/Ryan) - I'm a complete sucker for apocafic.

Fibonacci by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock, CSI, Greg/Nick.

Greg knew Nick was a CSI, which is kind of a cop, so. Greg knows cops, tries to school his face into innocence. He thinks he needs to be able to say, "We didn't do anything. Nick Stokes isn't like that," and really mean it--or at least not sound sick doing it.

Verses

The Domestic Verse by [livejournal.com profile] gyzm - Inception, Arthur/Eames. This is a tantalizing and rich relationship. Character voices are pitch-perfect. The bonus is there's already lots of this with promises of more.

The Steinway Verse by [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor - Inception, Arthur/Eames. Being a freshman piano performance major at a prestigious New England conservatory is difficult enough without landing the school's star baritone as your singer, and inevitably, your hopeless crush. Yeah. And again, LOTS of it to roll around in and completely lose your heart.

In Memoriam by [livejournal.com profile] hopeful_fiction SPN, Gen.

“Okay,” Dean says, pleased enough at the nature of the world tonight that he’s not even a bit argumentative. He bends over the rail into the crib, planting a kiss on his brother’s eyebrow. “Happy birthday, Sammy,” he says, then bobs again; kisses Sammy’s fist where it’s wound around Mister Bun. “Happy birthday, Mister Bun.”

DH4 verse by [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster, DH4, Matt/John. I blame [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster for any and all interest in this pairing, mostly because of these stories.

Current WIPS

These will eventually become favourite stories and are far-enough along that I trust them to finish at some point.

Rule 26 by [livejournal.com profile] fleshflutter - J2 RPS, Rule 26: No matter how attractive certain members of the rebellion are, there is probably someone just as attractive who is not desperate to kill me. Therefore, I will think twice before ordering a prisoner sent to my bedchamber.

The one with Arthur and Eames in the jungle and feelings by [livejournal.com profile] cobweb_diamond - There's like, sixty or so parts before they even touch each other and yet it's the sexiest damn thing. Protective!Eames and grouchy!Arthur are probably my favourites ever, plus they are both really competent and that also gets the big thumbs up.
