All in all I had a good day....

Birthday was nice. Passed with more of a whimper than a bang but that's to be expected when passing the big three-o... I got a text yesterday morning saying 'Welcome to your fourth decade'... *shakes fist* You know who you are.

Woke up to some lovely birthday messages, an offer of fic from annerbhp (if you don't think I'm taking you up on that, you're crazy... I'm just thinking... and balloons on my user page courtesy of goth_huntress... thankyou so much honey!! They make me grin every time I see them. :)

A nice relaxing weekend of movies and dinner ahead and catching up on the fic I missed during the week plus posting the ucp_ficathon master list and hopefully finishing up 'Past'.

Two weeks from today, actually. July 1. I always enjoy celebrating the hell out of my birthday, and have yet to hit an age that I won't announce a the drop of a hat. This year it's going to be somewhat overshadowed by the dissertation, but once that's done I'll make up for lost time. *g*
