Greetings from Thailand.
Basically, I fell over on my third day here at the tiger temple and broke my right wrist. I am in 40 degree heat with a cast on unable to swim or go on any tours that require any kind of agility or being near water - oh wait, that's all of them! My first overseas trip is going excellently. Also in Patong when there was a tsunamai scare, everyone running for the hills, I've never seen anything like it and it's not an experience I want to repeat. Pretty scary.
My flatmate is threatening to put me in a padded hamster ball for my own protection. Doesn't sound like a bad idea at the moment.
Back home Monday, will catch up on the +eleventy thousand flist pages then - considering I'm going to be pretty home bound it's a good thing!

I live in Asia - some hours away from Thailand - and I sympathize with you dealing with the heat. I'm from these parts and it's terrible. :-(
