-> Firstly, I'm a dumbass and forgot to give thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sirona_gs for basically fixing the end of Brand New Day with two brilliantly concise suggestions that basically wiped clear the frowny faces I was making at it.

-> I can't because I am at work, but all Avengers peeps should definitely head over and read The Last Love Song of Anthony E. Stark by [livejournal.com profile] jibrailis because I'm going to go out on a not-very-long limb and assure you that it will be wonderful.

-> So, it seems a majority of peeps are reading on my AO3 now but I'm also aware that I have a lot of lurkers (I love you even though you're quiet!) on LJ so I didn't want to stop posting stuff here and link only to AO3 like I've seen some others start doing. Feel free to let me know your thoughts, or just tell me I'm overthinking it. :D

I'm about 90% less likely to comment to things on AO3 because I often download PDFs and carry them away, and that's the end of it. If that factors into your decision; I suspect it's that way for many people. I'm also much less likely to read things that are only on AO3. Don't know why. I'm weird. (But I don't read Avengers fic, so it's all a moot point! *g*)

Hee - I just see a lot of people now linking on LJ and posting to AO3 only and response wise it seems like most people are reading on AO3 - but I'm conscious that the people who don't read on AO3 are probably the quietest here so just wanted to get a feeling on people's thoughts...

It's not a hardship to post on both, just a little extra cutting and pasting... heh.

Yes, I read a lot of stuff from here. I don't have a Ao3 account, so I would be sad and miss a lot of your fic. I like the convenience of authors providing a link, it's lovely but LJ is my original source. -SB

I'm thinking the yays have it by a landslide. :D

Thanks for your thoughts!

I've gotten into the habit of linking only to AO3 for my recent fics, but my recent fics have mostly been large stories where I didn't want to bother with the multiple entries. Plus I like having everything in one place because I am nerdy like that. I have no real preference for what others like to do -- though I do like it with people crosspost to AO3, because then I download their file and read it on my ereader.

THANK YOU FOR THE REC, BB. You are the best.

I AM NEEDING TO HAVE IT IN MY EYES IMMEDIATELY BUT THERE WAS WORK /LIFE IS HARD!!

I'm definitely now crossposting but figured if everyone was just clicking the AO3 link then I was duplicating unnecessarily but there seems to be an overwhelming want for the postage here still so I'll go with that. :D

I prefer reading on A03 myself because you get the long fic all on one page - much better!

I've been reading you on AO3, but I haven't subscribed to you (or anyone - because I have issues around telling websites my preferences). So I'm following links from LJ to know when to look at AO3 for a new story.

From: [identity profile] kellifer-fic.livejournal.com

Ah yep! I was going to still be linking, was just wondering if some peeps wanted the content still posted here but it seems they do and it's not that much of a hardship to carry on crossposting. :D

I'm reading more things on AO3 these days, partly because it's easier to find the fic I want than searching through LJ comms (for real, have people forgotten how to tag on LJ???). But for some reason, I prefer reading your fic on LJ, go figure.

I prefer reading on AO3, but over there I usually only kuddo because I am weird (and often not logged in because I fail)

SO I really like having a place on LJ to comment on the story, where I feel more at ease to do so. if it would be just a post with a link to AO3 I would comment here too, probably.

Speaking of, two tabs of your fic await comments, that should come shortly (please note you are then saved of basically only keysmashing until I find my composure ;) )

From: [identity profile] kellifer-fic.livejournal.com

Ah yes, I tend to comment more on LJ too!

Awww... ♥♥♥♥

I tend to read on A03 because LJ logs me off sometime during the day and when my browser closes sometimes I lose LJ pages... That does not happen on A03. I also leave kudos and comments on stories I read there. :)

The keep posting to both yays seem to have it.

Thanks!! :D
