Darcy/Clint - fake relationship cliche square fic -
-> Stuff I started writing: Steve/Tony comment fic for one of the AU prompts and now I'm probably going to finish it. I was staring at my cliche table trying to make it fit one of the squares but it really doesn't. Heh.
-> Stuff I'm reading:
My two favourite Clint/Darcy stories so far: Even A Miracle Needs a Hand which is when Darcy takes Clint home to be her fake boyfriend for Xmas and Talking Trash And Wasting Time which is where Darcy is treated like a bro and Clint is bad at flirting.
Also Steppes which is a short but lovely MI:GP Brandt/Benji story.
I'll link to the NSFW stuff when I'm not AT work.

Darcy/Clint - fake relationship cliche square fic -
"Why are you all looking at a picture of me? Why do you have a picture of me? What other pictures do you have?" she demands, starting to feel a little invaded. Fury has left her side and moved to the front of the room. She's never actually spoken to him before and has always been amused at the way people around her would flee at his approach but now she kind of understands.
His unwavering attention is unsettling.
"Do you know the man in the photo with you?" Fury asks, raising a finger to point. Darcy glances at it and half shrugs.
"Of course I do."
That gets everyone practically gaping at her which is not something she was ever expecting. A room full of superhero types being astounded by her. Stuff like that doesn't happen every day. "You do?" Tony Stark says in a tone that indicates that none of them were expecting for her to say she did.
"Yes," she says slowly. "Some Bolero guy that was trying to buy me a drink. He was really pushy," she says.
Tony's eyes go round and he clamps a hand on his mouth. If she didn't know any better she would swear he was stifling giggles. He jerks in a way that makes Darcy think that someone has kicked him under the table.
She's totally blogging about this, using fake names of course but still.
"Benicio," Fury corrects her and she shrugs again.
"Yeah, that was it," she says, eyes them all. Then she claps a hand to her mouth, nearly knocks her glasses off her nose by doing it. "Oh my god, is he a bad guy?" she says. "I wasn't consorting or anything, I didn't know I swear, I'm not some kind of spy."
Tony looks like he's having trouble staying on his chair and he's gone red now from the strain of trying to hold his laughter in. Steve Rogers clips him in the back of the head and he subsides with a sideways glance. "No one thinks you're a spy," he manages to squeak out.
"I would not let anyone sully your reputation thus, dear Darcy," Thor intones from the other side of the table. Darcy grins at him, he's Jane's best boyfriend to date by far and he's decided that Darcy is included in the fierce protectiveness he has about her. It's really quite endearing.
"That's Benicio Amro," Fury says and when Darcy fails to give him the reaction he's obviously waiting for, he huffs and says, "He's one of our High Priorities."
"As in, take him out priorities?" Darcy asks making a gun with her hand and Tony spits coffee across the meeting room table. Clint and Natasha elegantly sweep sideways out of the spray but Bruce Banner is left wearing most of it and looking resigned about that fact. He dabs at himself pathetically before huffing and giving it up for a lost cause.

I luff this so much. You are so damn *good* at these stories... Well, at any freakin' story but these Avengers ones in particular have been making me exceptionally happy.
Of course, i'll feel the same way when i re-read the robo!Dean story, or any *other* thing you've written....
