-> I wrote a teeny tiny thing in [livejournal.com profile] delicatale's journal about Tony finding THAT photo of Steve (you know the one). If you haven't already, check out the whole post because it is about Chris Evans' ridic face. :)

-> Bizarre and very detailed dream last night. Chris Evans was a bicycle courier for the military (??? already WTF brain?) which... his job was not important to the dream story arc so I guess even in my sleeping brain I'm ridic detailed ABOUT THINGS THAT DON'T MATTER. Anyway, so he's in the hospital and his wife dies (never saw her so she was OFFSCREEN CHARACTER DEATH WTF BRAIN AGAIN??) and he goes BANANAS and has this total breakdown and thinks everyone is a robot or alien or something and makes this total SuckerPunch-esque bid for freedom from the hospital which included stabbing himself with an oversized novelty syringe amongst other totally normal things. He had his shirt off a lot so at least my brain did something right.

-> I wasn't replying to comments on my stories on my AO3 which... I don't why? I've always made it a point to try to reply to everything on here and considering it seems most people are reading on there now... I don't know. It's like I was kind of treating the comments the same as the kudos thing which doesn't involve active participation from me and reading them and feeling squishy but not doing anything like y'know, thanking people for taking the time to actually comment which is always super nice. So I'm doing that now because I started feeling bad. I don't know, see above for how rational my brain is.

-> I was starting to feel a little antsy because I was having three different stories actively on the go up until last week when I finished everything I was actually working on and then... nothing. I was starting to believe I'd hit that very same writer's block wall that I'd been dealing with for a while before Avenger's fandom happened but now back to the magical number... 3. [livejournal.com profile] foxxcub kicked me back into action with her wonderful, wonderful story that has filled my inbox with super hot sexiness and boy angst (you guys, you are in for a treat when she's ready to post!!) and when I started one story up other ideas occurred to me and it all kind of started flowing again.

-> I need to rec stuff because I've been reading A LOT lately, mostly because I'm trying to be a home body while I save for my trip to Thailand in April. I will see if I can compile a list when I get home for your viewing pleasure.

-> Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] futureperfect because I am an AU junkie.

Give me an AU prompt in the comments and I will plot out for you the fic it evokes in my mind.

"Sir," JARVIS says, interrupting Tony when he clearly said no interruptions. He's in the zone, thinking clearer than he has in ages and making leaps and bounds instead of the crawl his work has been like for the past few weeks. "There's a Mr. Rogers here to see-"

"I said no," Tony snaps, pushing his welding goggles up onto the top of his head and leaning sideways to peer at the schematics JARVIS is rotating for a better view.

"But-" JARVIS tries and Tony smacks a hand down on the table.

"Whoever it is, tell them to buzz off JARVIS, just... dammit," Tony says.

There's a definite pause and then JARVIS says, "Yes, sir," in a way that Tony would swear was stiff if he wasn't a complex AI that wasn't actually capable of being offended.

Tony hears phantom footsteps on the stairs to the workshop, remembers his father yelling at the real Jarvis and feels like an ass.

"Look, sorry," Tony says, not letting it worry him about his life choices in the least that he's reduced to apologizing to a computer. "Just, bring up the second layer and enhance three point one would you?"

"Yes sir," JARVIS says, not sounding so stilted and Tony smiles to himself.

Noooooo, Tony! Don't be an idiot and let him go!
I hope there's going to be more, because this sounds great. Steve is adorable and now I can't wait for Tony to get seriously hurt, because I'm a bad person at heart and because seeing Steve worried and caring is such a turn-on.
Also Natasha and Steve are probably a great team - I can't stop imaging them working together and it's, like, all kinds of cool and adorable.

This is actually now a finished fic that I'm posting in a few days when it's had a cleanup so keep an eye out! :D
