First off I am totally impressed by all the things you keep signing up to do. It's a lot!

Secondly I've been trying to get more writing done myself, but I think I'd do better with deadlines. But whenever I go looking for appropriate challenges they're done or in the middle of things etc. Is there a place that lists challenges that are happening around various fandoms? Or do I just have to guess and have good timing?

I tend to rely on the flist linking to stuff. There are announcements in appropriate comms usually but I pretty much have to filter comms out at the moment because I just don't have time to do anything but skim the bare bones of the flist as it is. I'm relying on recs for stuff to read!

spn_j2_xmas is still taking signups and that's definitely a good one with a smaller word count and run by lazy_daze. It's an exchange style and I've done it the last couple of years and I always have a lot of fun with that one.

Maybe link to the newsletters for the fandoms you're interested in - it might be a good central point for seeing what's coming up. Most will have a new comms or challenges section.
