Finally have started feeling like life is settling down. I might be cursing myself but the run of badness I had was epic and I really am hoping it's over.
I want to be carefree and fannish and appreciative of ALL OF YOU who have been so supportive in many and varied ways. This is an escape for me that I really needed in the last couple of months, an untouched oasis of calm in my otherwise turbulent life.
So, fannish.
Don't worry about the link - since my masterlists are woefully out of date. Even a general description I should understand.
This weekend, I am going to attempt to WRITE and RECORD stuff. *fingers crossed* I really just need a whole day, just one, devoted to doing absolutely nothing.

Give me a link to one of my fics or WIPs, and I'll give you details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

"Just trying to cover all my bases," he says when Jensen just gapes at him.
Jensen says yes and he doesn't need anything except that one little word.

It just makes a mess.
"I was disassembling it," Dean sniffs. "To remove from the room. I was going to move some bunk beds in here." When Sam rolls his eyes, Dean shrugs.
"You used to like being on the bottom." Dean adds and it takes him a moment to understand why Sam has gone red and started choking on air. "Shut up, I know what I just said."

Katey thinks those girls are stupid and Sam's still at an age where he agrees with her.
"We play Doctor," Sam explains when Dean sounds exasperated about not understanding the appeal.
"Oh really?" Dean asks and waggles his eyebrows. When Sam just stares at him blankly, Dean rolls his eyes and snorts. "Okay, only you would actually take that game literally."

He doesn't know she does it. Only Eames knows about her secret sketch book with dozens of pictures of Arthur. "If you were a bloke, this would be kind of creepy," was Eames' only response but he made appreciative eyes when he flipped through the pages.
She doesn't draw him as a whole, just pieces. The curve of his jaw, a hand, the shell of his ear. He's endlessly fascinating and a good way to relax is to get lost in the little details of him.
"Eames says you're doing something creepy," Arthur comments one day but he's looking amused, almost fond. Not the least bit concerned. He has her sketch book in one hand and waggles it.
She knows he hasn't looked in it. He's the sort that won't without permission.
"Wow, if Eames says it's creepy, it must be pretty bad," Ariadne says, holds her hand out. Arthur puts the sketch book in it without asking. "I'm amazed Eames was able to lift that without me feeling it with a broken thumb."
"He's good when he wants to be," Arthur chuckles.
