-> I have seen my Big Bang art and even though [livejournal.com profile] ignited tells me it is rough I love it already so I can't wait to see the finished product! This is going to be soooo fun. Just need to put my head down and edit the crap out of this thing.

-> Thank goodness work has allowed me access to LJ in brief little windows during the day because at the moment I'm just too darned pooped to check my flist when I get home.

-> A question for the flist (relevant to one of my current stories) - how do you handle the alternate character? I'm having a dilemma. Say in an SPN story there is a Dean and an alternate!Dean. How do you write that without it being awkward and clunky and also clear who is who at any given time? I'm finding it brain-hurty.

To Do this weekend:

- Charity fics
- Charity fics
- CHARITY FICS
- Big Bang edits - June 22 is going to get here SO SUPER FAST!
- Fixing up my Big Bang soundtrack (because I sent it to [livejournal.com profile] ignited without all the song titles... d'oh!)
- Squeeze in seeing X-Men: First Class in amongst all that because I NEED IT TO LIVE!
- Making macaroons. Lime ones. Nom!

I wrote (and never finished... bad me) one fic that had an alternate of a character in it. It was a Star Trek Enterprise fic where the T'Pol character from the Mirror Universe came into ours. To distinguish our universe T'Pol from Mirror Universe T'Pol, I gave her the nickname 'Mu'Pol'. Not everyone was a fan, but I don't think they were giving much thought to the logistical nightmare of having two T'Pols together in many of the same scenes. I definitely get your brain-hurty!

Not sure that helps you much, but I get the feeling there's no 'eureka!' solution to that dilemma.

I might just give them entropic cascade failure if they're in the same room together ala Stargate. :D

I don't usually read stories were there are multiples of the same character and I really normally do not read codas/missing scenes/whatever for "The End" but something piqued my curiosity about Forever Ain't That Long after reading a few recs. It's got a kind-of "love thyself" message, I guess, using the two Deans. *smirk* Although, now I'm thinking of a variation of Janeane Garofalo's famous quote -- "Remember, people, you can love yourself, just don't love yourself!"

Anyway, check out that fic for an interesting take on alt!Deans in the same fic and scene. Good luck.

I wrote a Charmed story featuring two versions of Chris - I called them Chris and Little Chris. Not sure if that helps you, because they were actually different ages.

SEE X MEN IT IS AWESOME GO NOW. NOW!
