I sprained my wrist doing this:

It was very fun but owie! How did I sprain my wrist? The instructor said "Don't drop the paddle because it will sink if you fall off and drop it" (I love how he said if... hahahaha!) so when I fell straight down on the board (another hint from the instructor, thanks guy!) I managed to crack my wrist on it. Argh.
Basically, if I'd fallen sideways and let go of the paddle when I did, there would be NO INJURY.
Typing one-handed is NOT fun and the charity fics I was planning on finishing up this week will be delayed because it's already aching just with doing this much. Plus, I REALLY can't afford to lose a week on Big Bang. :(
Bright side? I got two days off work where I'm not really sick, just sore so I felt like I had two holiday days. Back to work tomorrow but will try not to use it much.

and that's really confusing. How does your board sink if your paddle falls? Or why would the paddle sink if YOU fell off? Or did he mean you paddle will sink if it falls because it's heavy? LOL I read that like 5 times and still got confused!
