Notes:This is very loosely based on the movie Loser. I would say seeing it before reading this story would be more of a hindrance than a help.

I was blessed to have a sweet as pie artist paracaerouvoar who has just been lovely and a doll to work with.

Summary: Even in a world where magic is common place, there are Losers. Arthur has felt like a Loser his whole life, always saying, doing or wearing the wrong things. He's expecting college to be no different, just one more place to be tortured. After meeting a compelling stranger with protection tattoos and a dark reputation Arthur's world tilts sideways with Arthur scrambling desperately not to tip off the side. All that and he has to survive having a Necromancer for a best friend and maintain his GPA.

This was so charming. I love the academic setting of it mixed with magic, and Arthur's ruffled dignity with Eames' enigma (and this is why you don't deserve nice things, omg, break my heart, why don't you). So good. *____*
