I have written more in the last few weeks than I think I have written in the last FEW months. Some of it is shiny new fandom but some it if is because I'm in a happier space head-wise I think. It's weird that with the going out more etc I end up spending more time with you guys but hey, not complaining.
So, two stories posted in a day - woo! I remember those times. I will be posting fic recs in the next day or so because I've actually been reading some of the stories I've tagged and not just looking at them with sad puppy eyes.
What I'll have done in (hopefully) the next week or so:
-> The second part of drop your differences at the door
-> Another Eames/Arthur AU which is a superhero AU where Arthur is assigned to be Eames' sidekick. (My muse, she is laughing at me).
-> Another J2 AU - Magic!College!.
The stuff I am going to get done in the next little while:
-> Inception Big Bang (when is that due again - oh thank you cheeses, it's December!!) which is Arthur/Ariadne (reassurance for those of you that have dropped by for the A/A and are all like - what, she's switched to A/E already!!) and may or may not be VERY loosely based on a Bill Murray movie.
-> Something gen SPN because I have missed it like a limb.
-> SPN Xmas exchange fic. I have ideas hurr hurr!
I'm feeling inspired. Give me a prompt for a story you wish someone would write and I'll at least write you a snippet. (I may even write a full story if my Muse stops downing Hot Chocolate and flipping me off because she is overworked)

I wish someone would write the story of how the body swap episode was actually Jared and Jensen having to switch to play Dean and Sam and all the things they had to do to get the characters right and dumb things that happened on set that kept cracking them up. Could be gen or not.

"Did you actually take my jeans up?" Jensen demands when Jared jostles through his trailer door. Jensen is looking at Jared's feet and ankles and how the Dean-jeans he's wearing stop at mid calf.
"Not at all," Jared says, looking wide-eyed and innocent which is always the best way to tell that he's lying through his teeth or plotting something. "You're just really that short."
"You're a dick."
Jared grins, remorseless. "Yes, but at least I'm a tall one."

Sam is outside the room with his t-shirt pulled up around his nose when Dean gets back from his burger run. Castiel is nowhere in sight which is never a good thing.
"He got a cat," is the first thing that Sam says when Dean approaches.
"Castiel got a cat?" Dean repeats, raising an eyebrow. Now that he's close enough, there's definitely an odor emanating from the motel room behind Sam.
"Yes, he got a cat. It was out by the dumpsters, it was black and white and when he picked it up it sprayed him with noxious liquid."
"That doesn't sound like a-"
"It's a skunk Dean," Sam says, sounding exasperated.

My best friend recently got sprayed by a skunk. She got a skunk whisperer shirt for her troubles. :)

I liked the boys kinda fucked up. Sam whose always had powers and they screw him up (not so much horrible migraines but something) and Dean doesn't talk to *anybody* but Sam, and not always Sam, either, and John vanished on them before Show started and they're just...weird and screwed and in love and hunting and weird. :) And other hunters know they're good but don't really know what to *do* with them.
OH, and did i mention weird? I like weird. They have their little rituals. They don't go to certain cities. They won't wear purple, i dunno. Just...weird.
*twirls you*
I luff that you're writing again. I do adore your fic.

Dean watches Sam arranging his orange pieces. Two segments horizontal, two vertical, another two horizontal, another two vertical. He fusses with them, changes their configuration, nibbles the corner of one of them and then starts again.
Dean plucks one of the orange sections off Sam's plate and Sam, without looking up says in a low voice, "Put it back."
"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to play with your- ow, fuck!" Dean snaps as the orange piece in his hand suddenly burns red hot and he drops it to the table. Sam immediately picks it up and puts it back with the others, shuffling them again. "That was really uncalled for," Dean says, looking at his fingers, expecting the skin to go red and shiny but it doesn't, because the orange segment was never hot.
Sam just made him think it was.
"How about we discuss this again when you're stealing my fries?" Dean snaps, tone one of complaint.
