Another request ficlet in time for Xmas...and a question for the f-list

I have a huge DVD collection because there's movies you can just watch over and over again. I have stories like that and am hoping to have done a big post of go-to stories to finish up the year, the ones I could re-read a thousand times.

My question flist as we finish up another year of fandom - what is your go-to story, that one, two or a dozen stories you can read over and over again?

SPN/DH4 - Sam Winchester/Matt Farrell - Meeting John McClane

Now I just have to resist the urge to write a long epic Sam/Matt story what with all the other stuff I've been meaning to write.

Sub Rosa by malcolm_stjay is my faaavorite AU Sam/Dean story.

I Wanna Hold You Till I Die by lazy_daze is my favorite non-au Sam/Dean story!

I Think It’s Time to Give This Game a Ride by dugindeep is a favorite j2 au of mine. :D

Fading Silhouettes by indysaur is this j2 zombie apocalypse fic that is amazingly well done and also non-au (except for the zombie part). SO AWESOME.


Also if you were to ever write long, epic Sam/Matt fic I would bow down to you forever!
