Is it too much to ask that we have consistent TV???

I'm finally able to watch S5 Supernatural because they started it here(I'm trying to be good and actually watch it on TV and weekly so it lasts longer) and there's two weeks of double episodes and I was looking forward to more and now tonight?

NO SPN!

Instead we now have a double episode of Stargate: Universe.

No wonder series television bombs here. It's because our networks can't manage to actually play a series with any kind of consistency or reason.

Aargh!!

Yeah, yasminke and I have been whinging about this all weekend. Hopefully it's just for this week to start SG:U off, but I don't think Network Ten likes us SPN fans at all.

I would've watched Stargate at any other time but now I really don't feel like watching it at all because it's taking my precious spn time!

Why couldn't they start it at 9.30 and have one ep of spn?? They don't care about scifi fans either so what's the diff if it ends at 11.30. Bah!

I was erked with constantly running into spoilers on the web so I gave up. Now I download, then watch it on telly, then eventually buy the dvd. They loose no money and I get to enjoy the show without the evils of spoilers. Plus if I miss an epp here or there on the tv if I'm doing other stuff I know I'm not missing out too badly.

If the show is good, then the people behind it have nothing to fear with the loosing of money and such.

Supernatural is back next Monday at 8:30 with SGU at 9:30. This week they're airing the 2 parter opener together as 7 did with SG-1 and SGA.

I'm more peeved they've moved White Collar from 8:30 Tues to 9:30 for repeats of NCIS!

I'd be less peeved if they hadn't advertised for another SPN ep at the end of last week!

The SGU opener is a two parter (well, it's sort of a three parter... well... it's sort of ongoing up til ep 6, which is where I've seen up to... and if it weren't for the complete fail that I know is coming my way I'd probably grumble but like it, occasionally. *sigh*) so that'd be why. Just... they should've advertised adequately!

Awww... you're a doll! Apparently it's back next week so I'll see how long before they screw it up, move days or just bury it after midnight so they can air more simpsons and futurama for the 15 hundredth time!

oh sweetie, I know exactly what you mean. At least, they're airing episodes in order? Here, sometimes they mess series up by a)not promoting them at all, b)promoting them for a certain timeslot only when you tune in that day and time the series somehow has shifted to an unknown time and date, wth? c)switching channels within the same network, of course without telling anyone or d)airing eps out of order. I was SO pissed when S1 of The X-files was aired out of order back then. It made absolutely NO sense.

So yeah, I've been trying to do the right thing myself, but sometimes they just make it impossible, don't they?

No, they do that here too. They played Farscape all out of sequence and that show just DOES NOT MAKE A LICK OF SENSE out of order. :(

LOL! I know how you feel. They aired season 1 here in 2007 and season 2 is coming now. It's not the same but I was still MIFFED. (I was forced into committing criminal acts, for Pete's sake. Criminal acts like downloading the episodes off the internet and shiz. :O)
