Oops, had a bit of an impromptu hiatus there. Started getting messages from peeps checking on my whereabouts so it might've been more extended than I meant it to be.

Basically, work has blocked LJ again which sucks arse because about 98% of my updating and reading was done from there. (Okay, so maybe I have single-handedly assured that no one can access LJ at my work... *shifty eyes*). What's annoying is that I get in super early to avoid traffic so will potter around on LJ first thing, then if I'm not having lunch with someone I have soup at my desk and potter around LJ again. THEN, if I have to hang around at work afterwards because I have a PT session, pottering.

Gone is my pottering!!

What's also sucky is that I was doing drafts of stories straight into my LJ as bits and pieces occurred to me during the day and because I just don't get time in the evenings and lately on the weekends. I will try to rectify and set aside some time for myself on the evenings to write but it's hard, especially when with the whole weight-loss thing being my focus I'm pretty much always at the gym. Heh.

I am also woefully behind on the flist. I just need a quiet weekend to catch up.

So this is me, just manically trying to scrape together enough time to be here and to write the things I want to and the things I OWE and the things that have been on the back burner. Plus, y'know, read YOUR stuff because I want to and I miss it.

You ought to try writing using google docs, that way you can access you files anywhere you happen to have internet access. When you're done, you can just copy/paste over to LJ :)

I love google docs. also handy are the automatic saves in case the browser crashes. we use them to write family To Do lists too.

I should totally use google docs... that is a fantabulous idea!

Do you just type in google docs to google? I've never used it before. :D

You access it through your google mail account. Or at least I do. In the top right hand of your email screen there is a link that says "documents". Click that and you go right to google docs. :)

You don't need to create a google account, just specify a current email account that will be used as your login.
