I have 3 4 5 stories I really need to finish and my muse has completely and not unsurprisingly... abandoned me like a used candy wrapper on the side of the road.
Help me woo her back.
Request some timestamps/pre/post/missing scenes of anything I've written.
*Anything*
I'm not actually expecting many of you to be around because I think it's like night o'clock Sunday for most of you but what the hell.
I will write3 4 5 as many as I can squeeze out before I actually get my mojo back and start writing what I'm supposed to be writing.
Hi new people who have recently joined, don't be shy. :)
ETA: Can anyone point me in the direction of any good up-for-grabs posted Justin Long icons??

I haven't been able to find anything Lorne/Novak lately and you write them so well!
And on the matter of up for grab icons of Justin Long, you might be able to find some at this website if you know something he's in.

Good luck with the muse... they are such sneaky creatures at times!!

Lorne looks across the table at three incredulous faces and sighs. "Yes."
"But isn't she a little... science-y?" Adams asks, making a hand gesture that Lorne isn't sure how to interpret. It's possible the man is miming turning on a bunsen burner but it's anyone's guess.
"For a scientist she can be a little bit science-y, yes," Lorne agrees with a snort and now Pilbor and Davis glance at each other. Lorne had finally started saying to people that yes, he was actually seeing someone on a more than casual basis and it was apparently a concept that some were having trouble with.
"Just... why?" Pilbor asks and then pulls a face that means what he said didn't come out exactly as he meant it to which us lucky for Pilbor, because Lorne would have felt compelled to pop him one in the nose otherwise. "Novak huh?" Pilbor says, and this time his expression is one of contemplation, like he's trying to picture just exactly who she is.
"Does she actually hiccup when you-"
"Finish that sentence and be shipped to Syberia my friend, and I don't mean the Earth one," Lorne warns, narrowing his eyes at Davis.
"I'm just having trouble picturing it," Davis says, holding up his hands and shrugging and Lorne rolls his eyes.
"I would prefer you didn't actually."
He's got to get new friends.
"She just seems really kind of mousey," Pilbor agrees and Lorne pauses.
The fact is, to the casual observer, that's exactly what Lindsay Novak is. She's a lot of other things, some very interesting things that get him in a way nothing else ever has but yes, that's one way to describe her if you didn't have the benefit of knowing what an amazing person she was.
"Just... she does that librarian thing, man," Lorne says, trying to break it down into meathead speak. "Undoes that tight hair and shakes it all out and-"
"Hi."
Lorne does not fall off his chair but it's a near thing.
"Hey you," he says, recovering, seeing the way Lindsay is hesitating just a little away from their table like she's not sure she's welcome. There's no spare chair but Lorne just grins and holds an arm out, curling her into his side as soon as she's close enough.
"What are you guys talking about?" Lindsay asks, tugging at Lorne's collar.
"Football," all four men manage to say at exactly the same time.
