Simply There - “I’m sorry, you’re just… uncomplicated,” she says and he feels her tense.

Ah, interesting... because it was a Sam POV story so I never really thought of the impact on Daniel. I think upon her leaving he would have been a little bit sad because something between them would have lost its innocence. There was a certain level of unconditional comfort which would be gone...

And did anything in particular inspire you to write that story?

Wow... it was a while ago. It was my first ever non Jack/Sam story and very early into my stargate watching. I guess it was a way of exploring Sam as a character because the other guys seemed to overshadow her for the eps I'd seen...

Oh, bummer. But thanks for letting me know. I just saw the description and it looked interesting. But still a lot more here to read that I haven’t seen before. I have read more of your fic that I first thought I had. When I first discovered SG1 fanfic, I was so enjoying it and reading it so fast that a lot of individual authors blended together for me. Now I’m trying to pay more attention. LOL.

Just checked Fanfiction’s home page and they mention that they’ve been doing some upgrading the past 48 hours and some pages did not load properly. Perhaps While He Sleeps was caught in that?

Sorry, I didn’t mean to just drop in on you from nowhere. I can’t remember exactly how I first found my way here to your list (so much for trying to pay more attention to what I’m doing, lol). But I am enjoying reading my way through your fic! Thanks again.
