I was going through my old papers at my parents house and came upon my old English (the subject) work. One of the exercises that I always seemed to get awesome marks for was finishing another piece of writing... as in, you get a paragraph or a whole story and you continue it...

Hmmm... writing in someone else's world and matching their writing style/characterisation... what possible use would I have for that skill in the real world...?? Hahahaaa...!

Anyone who's willing, write me a paragraph or a sentence and I will continue it. Who knows, maybe some of them we'll write back and forth so much that they will take over the world...

Entertain me... there's nothing on television!

Carla went all philosophical about it, as she was prone to do. She thought of Hannah as that part of her that was missing that kept her from feeling like an actual person and possibly (because who knew what went on in the blonde's head) vice versa. "It's like we have more than enough of certain qualities for the both of us. So when we're together, we're almost like a normal person."

Hannah would in turn screw up her nose and accept that the world just didn't get her, but strangely, Carla did. "I don't know about you," she says around the mouth of her beer on a Friday night. "But maybe it's just all so much crap."

Carla sipped on her Pepsi with lime, and indulged in some people watching as she thought about what Hannah said. "It's not that bad." She'd had a bit of a downturn in luck herself, but it wasn't that bad. It just needed time and work was all.

Hannah scratched at her brow with a ragged thumb nail, wincing slightly when she caught the skin. "Don't try and tell me this is just a downturn," she scolded. "I can't take that kind of glossing over from anyone but you."
