creek? brook? whatever it says on the map or sign nearby. Or sometimes we just call them rivers nonetheless.

Frying pan or skillet... and if it was very expensive, a sautee pan.

By hand - tip first. Then the other two corners. Then the rest of the tip until the goodie part is equal to the crust part, and then I'll fold it in half like that and finish it.
