Because I always, always have 'em and I want to make sure I'm not alone...

When you see this, post a little weensy excerpt from as many random works-in-progress as you can find lying around. Who knows? Maybe inspiration will burst forth and do something, um, inspiration-y. Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] astolat

So... it doesn't look that bad because I'm without the external harddrive that has my fic grave yard on it... heh.

** SGA- My next Lorne/Novak piece **

Lorne swims up from unconsciousness to Lindsay’s voice. He tries to move, open his eyes, something to indicate he’s awake and aware but his body just isn’t cooperating.

“You were shot and I’ve been so stupid and you almost died,” Lindsay continues and Lorne feels the cobweb brush of hair against his hand. When her voice comes out muffled he realises she’s resting her head right near his hip. “I’ve adored you from the moment… pretty much from the moment I saw you and I’m not sure I ever told you that.”

Lorne is feeling sleep dragging at him, lashing heavy cables to his waking mind and dragging him under. He fights it because he wants to hear.

He’s fighting a losing battle.

**SPN - The Bad!Sam fic that is going to turn into something else... eventually**

“I couldn’t help,” Bobby says and it sinks in that the older man sounds truly shaken.

“Bobby, what-?”

“You go and ask Sam just exactly what he did because I can guarantee that it wasn’t good. I want you boys here and I mean yesterday.”

Bobby hangs up on him and Dean looks towards the door of the motel room and sees Sam standing there with what would probably be dinner. He’s still got the gloves on and Dean narrows his eyes.

“Something you want to tell me?” Dean asks.

**Crossover - That damn Sam Winchester/Cameron Mitchell/Faith Roadtrippin'/apocafic **

"He's not a puppy," Cameron warns, watching the way Faith is edging around the sleeping stranger they've just happened on.

"I didn't think he was," Faith protests with an arch of her eyebrow.

"Yeah, sure, but I know that look. It's the can we keep him look."

**Crossover - Next part of the League of Fairly Unusual Gentlemen**

Cameron seems to remember being upright at some point, but not right at this moment. He's flat on his back, staring at the ceiling and he's not sure how it happened.

A face appears in his field of vision, haloed in dreadlocks and wearing a grin he's never seen before. "Want to go again?" Ronon asks.

I am going to finish... just being a bit scattered at the moment and I need to stop signing up for ficathons...

I need a few months free and clear when nothing's due... *grins*
