I'm without my car today... *cries*

Basically, I'm in a large-ish communal garage at home (about twenty cars) and the automatic door stopped working this morning. After the damn thing had been left open for two months because it was broken and they "fixed" it on Saturday. The last five (FIVE!!!) times it has broken, I've been stuck outside. Annoying but not really that big a deal...

My car is on the inside today!!

Add that to us having had two solid weeks of rain and the fact that I'm about an hour from work in a CAR therefore maybe two and a half hours by public transport...

Argh!!

If anyone wants to brighten my day with comment fic or piccies or anything then I would be really grateful. I'm having a crap week... urgh!

*Hugs you* Happy thoughts - i recently read your "Dean is a doll story" to my kids. They thought it was hysterical.

Would it make you feel better to know that I am having sympathy car troubles and it's still Monday here? My baby (see icon) is in the body shop. Somehow the back fender started to separate from the car. I swear I didn't hit anything. So I borrowed my husband's car and had a flat and had to call road side assistance.

Wow... you don't know how much that cheers me up to hear I've been read to kids! *grins like a mad thing*

Oh noes for sympathy car pain! *pats our cars*

I apologise for this profusely.

"What did you do?"

Dean stared, horrified, at the scene in front of him. He was sure that his eyes were round, like in the cartoons, as he resisted the urge to grab Sammy and shake him.

Sam's bottom lip trembled, as he attempted to hide behind the shower curtain. "Didn't do nothing," he muttered defiantly, the threat of tears already leaking into his voice.

"This..." Dean trailed off as the magnitude of the potential cleanup hit him. God, there were things floating in it. Pastor Jim was going to kill them. "What did you do?"

With Dean's rising voice, Sam burst into loud tears and shrieked back at ear splitting level, "Didn't do nothing!"

As was kind of expected, at least by Dean who'd had to put up with it when Sammy decided to be a little brat and yell, footsteps pounded down the hallway. Pastor Jim skidded to a halt in the doorway, obviously having decided that Sammy's shrieks required double time or his big brother might kill him.

"It wasn't me," Dean quickly said, putting his hands up in front of him.

Of course, just as Sam started yelling that it wasn't him either, the toilet finally overflowed, things and all.

They were so getting it when Dad got back. And it wasn't even Dean's fault.

No rain down here, unfortunately, *glares at Melbourne* and I'm afraid that as much as I would like to write comment fic, I don't have time - I have a big meeting in about an hour (ick) and need to do some preparation. Why yes, I am procrastinating! *g*

I did write a fic a couple of days ago that you might be interested in - of course, it's angsty, so I don't know whether it would cheer you up or make you sadder. But here's the link anyway: here (http://moonmip.livejournal.com/25803.html#cutid1/).

Hopefully your car is better soon!

Aww hon. If it's any consolation, my car died (well ok, the gear box did) over the weekend, right at the beginning of my holidays, so now I get to go nowhere! AND my front yard is one giant mud puddle (It's pouring up here in Brisbane too).

But, I noticed all the SN fic on your site, so I actually sat down and watched last night's ep, and I have to say I quite liked it. Of course now I'm gonna have to play catch up witht he dvds, and then read all your fics...so at least I have something to do in my holidays :D

Oh noes... that's terrible!

Hahahaa... yay for another convert... *grins*

*hugs* I feel your pain! Ours does that very same thing every once in a while! Give it a good kick! No, it won't fix it, and it may hurt if you do it too hard, but it sure as Hell makes me feel better when I do it! :-D

Ha! I did actually go up to it and shake it a bit... but the door is ridiculously heavy and crap... :(
