I think mostly how he actually, sneakily, CARES. Him and the Zelenka bro-ship. How much he enjoyed Ronon and how much Ronon enjoyed him. How he never felt like he belonged with the "cool" kids even though they adored him. John and Rodney be is SHIP, or bro-ship. How they had each others backs.

Coulson - we all know he has Captain America underwear on under his expensive suits. (sometimes, when he's feeling daring, he'll switch to Iron Man and smirk at Tony *just* so).

Zoe - She's now making her own way, little red-haired twins clinging to her and sneakily being able to kick ass.

I love that she took the time to have a freakout about Scott, but then put it aside when she needed to and when he needed HER. I love her in the know and her competence. She took in Isaac. Eeeeeeeeee! Such joy.

He's unrepentantly out for himself, but then you get this glimpse of a man with a tight-knit, probably large family who adores him and you wonder, what is that man like when he's at home, is there a good reason he's out for himself.
