- So firstly, thank GOD it was better than 2! I liked it alot. I saw someone say it was as good as if not better than the Avengers and while I wouldn't go that far, it was certainly enjoyable.

- I picked the Mandarin thing, basically when they had him on a 'set' but I think it's more that I'm a roleplayer who is used to these kind of twists than any real giveaway foreshadowing. I liked the twist.

- There were some AMAZEBALLS action sequences in this thing. The plane and the people - using Barrel of Monkeys as a rescue strategy. Tony, I love your brain. That was honestly the part I was most looking forward to from the preview and I have to admit, I nearly missed it because I was dying to pee and almost left the cinema RIGHT BEFORE that happened. I would have been kicking myself!

- I liked that Tony was Tony for a large chunk of the movie. I think stripping him of relying on the suit for a large section of the movie really worked and we got to see him be old school clever.

- There's a fine line for me with kids in movies where I find them either cute or really irritating. This kid was cute but not cutesy which I liked and was a manipulative little guy. Some of his and Tony's interactions were hilarious.

- I really liked the choices they made, that most of his panic came from the unknown of the alien menace from New York and the battle. That the world and the universe are much larger than he could have imagined and being the smartest guy in the room isn't always enough to protect what you love.

- I liked that they didn't go backwards on his and Pepper's relationship, as a LOT of serial movies can do. They can undo growth so fast but it was good that they were in a natural place of change, that the progress they'd made since Avengers wasn't undone. It was a nice little touch that when you saw Pepper throwing the bags you thought she might be leaving but no, she was getting herself AND Tony out of dodge.

- The henchman! "I don't even like this job, these people are weird"... hahahaha! I SO want to write a story where there's a henchmen temp agency because seriously, where do these guys come from??

- Well done for character growth in Tony remote-ing the suit when it would have been too dangerous for him to go in and he recognised that.

- I literally CRIED when DUM-E went over the cliff. :( It was good that Tony retrieved him.

- It's definitely bold to have the arc reactor removed and blow up the suits. The guy next to me in the cinema actually literally yelled "Noooooooo!" when they were doing that... hee!

- THE END CREDIT SEQUENCE. MY HEART! BRUCE'S FAAAAACE!!! "I'm not that kind of Doctor!"

Thanks for the review! I really want to see this movie, but was waffling due to how awful comic movies can so often be. I liked IM2 ok but there was just something off and a bit embarrassing about it. This one sounds good. :)
