I'm still writing Avengers, I swear

-> Every time I start reading something of scifigrl47's, I start getting the Tony/Steve feels. I realised I haven't written any Avengers for a little while. I need to finish the Darcy/Clint, Peter Parker story for laria_gwyn and of course there are TWO Big Bangs to do but I really need to sink my teeth into something long Steve/Tony-ish. BTW, if you haven't read any of scifigrl47's stuff, don't let me keep you.

-> I am VERY NEARLY finished the 2nd part of Dude, what's a bulwark?. This is the first time in a long while that a story has just kind of come to me instead of me working for it.

"This one's a fundraiser," Scott says.

"For what?"

"Oh, um...?" He looks at Stiles who shrugs. The beneficiaries of the festival change every year, depending on Jackson's whims and he can never keep up.

"Puppies and orphans," Stiles offers and Isaac pulls a face at him, before his attention is drawn back to his books by Chester smacking him on the knuckle with a ruler.

"C'mon, you've been Sour McGlower all week," Scott opines.

"No Allison tonight?" Stiles asks. He's very tempted, having missed quality bro-time with Scott because of the whole marriage thing.

"She and Lydia are having a girl's night," Scott says, giving a little shiver because the prospect of that frightens him as it should.

"Well, I can't really leave-"

"Oh my god, Dad, we're fine. Isaac is going in an hour and I'm sure you'll hear from Derek if he doesn't."

"I don't think-"

"Dad, we're not doing anything, and we're not going to do anything," Chester says. Isaac kind of twitches at that, looks like he's straining himself not to glance at Chester but keep his eyes down. Stiles is actually starting to feel sorry for the kid, because Chester seems to be the one putting the brakes on everything. He was totally worrying about the wrong boy getting his heart broken.

"Alright, fine. Just, don't burn the house down," Stiles says.

"You're such an amazing parent. I swear, I'm taking notes here," Scott says as Stiles grabs his jacket from the hall closet. Stiles huffs and gets Scott in a headlock on their way out, Chester yelling at them to grow up as they go.

I've only ever watched the first two Alien movies; I was told the other two would break my heart. XD So instead I read Yuletide AU fic. :) Die Hard, the first one and the fourth one anyway, are my forever series. So good! Sadly, the fifth one is really quite terrible. >_<

Also, re: cute!Dean. Dean was sweet but the boy who captured my heart was Jess. Oh Jess, you sulky, hipster bad boy mess. lol I swear, that moment when Rory first surges forward to kiss him, my heart stopped, it was just one of those moments, you know?

Heh... I think of 3 and 4 being AUs and somewhere out there, Newt, Ripley and Hicks are all happy and in love and kicking ass.

Hee... yes! Absolutely the same! 2 was terrible and 3 was okay. Someone said they liked 2 better than 5 and they thought they would never say they hated something more than Diehard 2... hee!

Dean was sweet but the boy who captured my heart was Jess.

I think Dean got ruined by the later seasons, so it's hard to like him. He really got screwed around, but then he was TERRIBLE to his wife and that whole Rory/Dean thing was so awful to watch and you knew it was going to end, which it did and kind of in a blah way. I just... I couldn't like Jess at first because of how Rory treated Dean BECAUSE of him. When he gets his act together later and has the book and is all sweet and centred, I came around. :)

My forever OTP is definitely very early Rory/Dean though.
