So, I think I've *mostly* figured this tumblr thingie out. I'm going to try not going too crazy and follow a billion people and then in two weeks forget to use it completely for a year, kinda like facebook. From the outside it's confusing but I'm getting the hang of it I think, until someone tells me I'm doing it wrong. Heh.
here i am on tumblr.
I have to restrain from following ALL THE THINGS but ugh, there is Avengers comic stuff and Teen Wolf set pictures and PRETTIES and I was missing them. Don't judge me. :D
The thing that threw me the most? The Previous and Next post thing. I'm used to clicking PREVIOUS because of LJ so I was going back and forth on the same 2 pages for a while thinking, huh, lots of people post the same things. *headdesk*

This is me over there: http://www.tumblr.com/blog/cheynelightning
But don't bother following me, i only reblog stuff i really like and don't want to lose track of, so - not much, and not often.
If you like beautiful scenes of nature and civilization, however, do follow this: http://bluepueblo.tumblr.com/

The thing is... there aren't communities. There are Tumblr's with specific focus, but they're actually an individual's blog. So if they want to (re)blog something totally unrelated to what the blog is supposed to be about, they can. If they get bored with the subject, they might completely change it.
Tumblr's ability to search for things to follow sucks. Pretty much non existent. I took to using Google's site search on Tumblr to find potential ones to follow.
Those negatives aside, it's full of pretty. I actually don't like text posts on Tumblr. They look wrong.
