So, it's like a pretty common thing for Omega wolves, if they have a were-kid, to dump it near a known pack territory in the hopes that an established pack will pick the kid up and raise it. The life of an Omega is pretty dangerous and some think it's the only option.

Stiles thinks that's one CRAZEE Omega to think that the Hale Pack were a good option.

"Grrr, were-baby attack!"

"Can you not do that?" Derek says, dodging Stiles and the baby that's being waggled at him. He's pretty sure the kid is passed the age where it's head has to be held but he's not sure there's any age where it would be Stiles-appropriate.

"We were just going to attack you with cuddles," Stiles says, pouting.

"Put it down."

"Where?" Stiles says, kind of managing to flail around the space with his arms while still holding the kid.

"Just... you'll get attached. You shouldn't."

"Ah, too late for that Obi Wolf Kenobi," Stiles says, jostles the kid and it doesn't look fussed about it in the least. Derek knows if he were being manhandled that way he'd have something to say about it, and loudly. "Dean and I-"

"Geez, don't name it," Derek groans, rubbing a tired hand down his face.
