-> Signed up for [livejournal.com profile] goingonfacebook because how could I resist a Darcy fic exchange?? That exchange is just hitting me in the Darcy kryptonite.

-> 5k down on the 2nd 3rd 4th attempt at my 2nd [livejournal.com profile] marvel_bang story. I'm having a quiet weekend so hopefully I'll get a lot of writing done (good intentions always go astray alas!) and I really should get back to the *first* story because even though it's currently at 11k it's not nearly finished.

-> Yeah, I'm reading Teen Wolf fic now. I hope you're all happy.

-> I can't believe I still have to wait a week to see the new Bourne. By all reports it's good though (not that there was any doubt!). 6 more sleeps till I can have it in my eyeballs!!

I might watch it and not feel fannish at all... that happens. I'm kinda enjoying the fic with only a primer and fandom as a background and am wibbling about watching the actual show because it might actually ruin it for me... heh.

I watched the first half of Stargate Atlantis' five years, then retreated into only hearing what happened in new episodes via fandom and reading fanfic voraciously.

I found the fandom and fanfic much more satisfying, because it buffed out the flaws that I saw in character interactions, dialogue, and overall plot. I recall running across an episode after I hadn't watched in a while and remembering how some of the characters I love in fanfic I didn't love how the show used them.

I'd feel weird reading Teen Wolf fic without seeing at least the pilot, just to get the idea of the way the characters interact and the world works. Then fandom can fix it for me as needed. ;)
