-> Okay, so might have written 5k in just two days of the ridic Avengers D&D AU and there are FEELS and crankiness and not much roleplaying because I realised after not being in the "scene" for about ten years a lot of the details have been wiped from my memory. (I literally couldn't remember that the manual for all the monster was called the Monster Manual. I'm kinda liking it though, even if it's more reminding me of Big Bang Theory than anything else.
-> Ugh, I'm reading more Teen Wolf fic and still haven't seen the show... but how can I resist when some of my favourite all time writers are dipping their toes in. Have read a primer, that's all I need right??
-> I've signed up to the Avengers exchange - fun! Or terrifying. One of those two. I'm wibbling about signing up for the SPN kamikaze remix because that one is definitely terrifying.
"We made the No Girlfriend rule when we were thirteen, and also before we knew that seventy five percent of us were gay. I feel a little discriminated against," Bruce says, throwing his hands out and his voice going shrill.
"We'll amend the rule."
"Darcy made food."
"You can't... what kind of food?" Tony asks, because made food isn't really something he's familiar with. They have take out most nights, eat leftovers of said take outs during the day. Sometimes Tony will splash out and get them a bunch of catered meals they can freeze and nuke later but the warehouse kitchen is basically used as a meeting point and for coffee but nothing else.
"I don't know, she brought breads and made dips and stuff."
"Dips? Is she trying to sneak vegetables into us? She looks like the kind of person that would try to infect others with the food pyramid."
"I'm pretty sure one of the dips is made from melted down toblerones."
Tony's a little derailed at that. "Oh, well, that's... okay. If she doesn't make a peep and her food is delicious I will think about, don't look that excited, I said think about adding a Darcy caveat to the NGF rule."
There is a dip that turns out to be made of toblerones, which is awesome, but there's also some that look suspiciously healthy and are unnatural colors like green and orange. They turn out to be delicious too so Tony just ignores the fact that there is possibly some kind of plant derivitive in them and decides that they must have enough oil in them to detract from any benefits.

I feel you over your Teen Wolf situation, and you are not the only person I've seen saying this sort of thing (I've only see the S1 pilot myself). Apparently it is the kudzu of fandom. Feel free to pass along any recs! :)

I think I'm getting less and less convinced to watch the actual show because how can canon live up to the sparkly, glorious, ridiculous fanon??

That's how I got roped in. One of my favorite reccers posted some TW links, so I read them and then hunted down more. The next thing I knew, I had marathoned the entire first season in a weekend and was counting down the days until the second season premiere.

I love this little ficlet, though I find myself usually fidgeting and scrolling past most Bruce/Darcy fics.
