-> I might be starting my second
marvel_bang story again...? As in, a completely different story. Am I crazee? Basically, there's some major problems with the other story and I've started thinking that I like it too much to try and do a patch job and get it out just because it has a deadline hanging over it and I might be able to kind of work on it and get it there without that pressure. So, instead there might be the Clint/Coulson parallel story that I'd been thinking about from my
avengers_bang story.
-> Saw Cabin In The Woods and it was very... different. I definitely enjoyed it but it's one of those weird movies where I'm not sure I would want to see it again. Joss Whedon however is still the master of unexpected humor. Heh, two women sat next to us left about fifteen minutes in because the movie wasn't what they thought it was going to be?? (We know this because they had a NORMAL VOLUME conversation about this fact, not even trying to be quiet.) I'm just left thinking, it's a movie about a bunch of young attractive people going to a secluded CABIN IN A WOOD. What kind of movie did you think you were seeing? Granted, it's not your traditional slasher movies, but you don't even know that fifteen minutes in. We think they were supposed to be in the Bolshoi Ballet screening that was showing at the same cinema and got REALLY confused when there was no dancing.
-> Also saw a screening of The Birds at the State Theatre which was fun although I think they'd remastered the sound and the bird screeching gave me a vicious headache. Also, most of the audience was in hysterics through the whole thing because the suspenseful shots didn't really age or translate well to a modern audience. It was really interesting to see a movie with no music at all, we're so used to music dictating the mood of a movie and what we're supposed to be feeling.

I would LOVE to share the alternate story with you if you don't mind though hon! It's going to be the parallel story for Turn Around Three Times (Clint/Coulson redux). :D

wow, those women seem very rude. and heck, they could judge it was not what they thought after 15 minutes? on the other hand, they left so I am sure it was better for you after.
I haven't seen Birds since I was something like 12 years old, I remembered it being frightening at the time. the music is always what scares me the most in a horror movie, though, that's true.

With the Big Bangs, I am writing two stories so if worse comes to worse I'll end up just submitting one which won't be the end of the world I guess... :D
