-> My flatmates are taking me to see Prometheus for my birthday in Gold Class on Sunday night. I am MAJORLY excited because the Alien movies are just... I think they were really the first scifi I was exposed to, they were the Star Wars of my youth and HICKS♥, possibly one of my favourite characters ever still to this day. He picks up Newt and puts her on the schematic table because she can't see! DIES!!
I'm not sure what will be prettier in this movie, the ships or Michael Fassbender's cheek bones.
-> Doom!hand is slooooowly coming back. It's now upgraded to slightlypeeved!hand. Your dominant hand is supposed to be 10% stronger than your non-dominant and currently my right is at 60% LESS, argh. No wonder I can't staple with it.
-> I have SO MUCH stuff I should be working on at the moment, and instead I'm writing a 'woke up married' fill for my cliche table. Working on my
marvel_bang got me in the mood for oblivious!Tony/oblivious!Steeeeve fic. I've been all about the Darcy/Clint, Clint/Coulson fic lately, needs to return to my roots, yo.

Stapling is hard! I have this ligament thing in my right hand, and stapling exacerbates it majorly--or, if it's already bad, I can't do it the normal way at all. I do quite a bit of stapling in my job, so I've had to make stapling by pushing down on the top of the stapler my normal method instead of picking up the stapler and squeezing it. I know it's a small thing, but it's annoying. I'm glad your hand is improving!

I saw Prometheus last week - it is visually awesome (and you are right about Mr Fassbender's engaging cheekbones). I look forward to hearing what you think of it!

'Alien', 'Star Wars', and 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' were my 'sci-fi firsts' when i was a kid, and definitely have stuck with me. So very, *very* cool.

Omg. We both screamed, my sis started to cry - man. He felt kinda bad but still chuckled about it. We got over it. :)
