1. I'm right-handed but because I have a dodgy shoulder I use my left for my mouse and people who see me do it say, "Oooh, I didn't know you were left handed."

2. I'm not a sun-bronzed Aussie. I'm Irish winter pale. Like, when people see me in the daylight they feel it necessary to say, "Wow, you are really pale."

3. I've never actually had a pet. I wish some day to rectify this.

4. I've never been out of Australia. I wish some day to rectify this.

5. My favourite ever book, the one I re-read once a year is The Stand. (yeah, I can here you all defriending me from here... heh) I will always love Stephen King, no matter how many space ass-worms he writes about.

6. I have my eyebrow pierced. Yes, random strangers on the street who repeatedly ask me, it's my only piercing.

Oh you have to read the Stand!! I did enjoy Dreamcatcher although I made the tragic error of seeing the movie first and... yeah. Not a good idea.

Ah, see, I, um, saw the movie first on purpose and...love it to pieces despite how awfully bad it is.

(my roommate at the time shared my love...she once had a friend come over to borrow some movies and they had the following conversation:
Friend: What's this one? *points to Dreamcatcher*
Roomie: Oh, it's really bad, you don't want to watch it.
Friend: Then why do you own it?
Roomie: Because it's the best movie ever!
Friend: Whaaa...?)

Ha... but the ending is completely different so I was all... wah?? Wha happened??

It's true. The movie ending sucks - and the dvd has an alternate ending they filmed that's 100 times worse. (If I remember right, Dudditz suddenly also turns into a big, creepy looking alien and they fight to the death with their giant stingers).

Wait... but that's the *cinema* release I saw... is that my problem?? Argh, I hate when they do that! They did that to the also trashily bad/good butterfly effect where they had a perfectly reasonable ending in the cinema release and a completely wacky one in the director's cut and the director's cut is the only one you can get.

Um...I could be mis-remembering which is the "real" ending on the dvd and which is the "alternate" I do remember the extra ending being unfinished special effects-wise.

I also remember some ending with Dudditz wiggling his finger and this whirlpool effect coming from it and smashing the bad alien to the wall and killing him and then Dudditz slumps down and dies.

And now...I'm actually not sure which bad ending was which...guess it's time to watch again :)
