Rec-a-palooza

Basically, I've gotten to a point where I rely on my flist to rec fics. Y'all write ALOT and I'm not getting through it all so I've stopped reading communities as much and just filtering my flist to friends only and then reading what people point me too. (I'll catch up on some comms if I have some spare time which... yeah, not so much lately).

I used to rec a lot but don't do it as often as I'd like to because basically, recs make the world go round. (How excited am I to have discovered crack_van and crack_impala, two rec comms I had no idea about!)

So, bi-monthly I'm going to do a mega-mega rec list. The goal will be to rec at least one story from each of my flist (those that write) and then anything miscellaneous I've picked up on the way from other people's recs. I miss the presence of ship_recs like burning so I'm going to try and fill the void, at least a little.

What can you do? Pimp yourself. Comment with a story you've written recently (or not so recently) that you like a great deal because chances are I did too.

For great reccers - go see _minxy_ (mostly SG-1 and SGA but she recs outside of that when she finds something interesting) or killabeez's Big List of Supernatural Recs that I am *still* working my way through. Go see crack_van and crack_impala and of course, because I'm *totally* unbiased *cough* stargateficrec (go volunteer to be an April reccer because with SG-1 drawing to an end, we all need more Stargate love than ever!).

I may have... um... *looks shifty* just gone off the deep end about Supernatural. I mention this only because my delicious account with the ReadMe tag is now half Supernatural.

I wrote... something. YES! I wrote some Bra'tac fic a few months ago and I was so pleased with it. I now have two fic in beta and one in the works so am likely to post more soon. I was also quite proud of the dark_gate fic. Yes.

Hurrah!! Another convert... *smishes* I always feel a teeny pang of guilt whenever I post a Supernatural story because I feel like I'm cheating on my stargate flisters... but more and more are coming into the fold... neheheheheeee!!
