I think this is slightly different to the one I've seen around...

List 10 platonic relationships on TV/Movies that you enjoy.

Rules:

1. They interact in canon, preferably in a significant (apply your own interpretation of such) way.
2. They are not related. They can, however, view each other as surrogate family.
3. Neither has confessed or implied romantic love for the other in canon.
4. They have not dated, been married, had sex, or made out in canon, on purpose, and of their own free will.
5. A popular fanon ship is ok (though preferably not your ship) but a canon pairing you wish were just friends is out.
6. Try to avoid using the same character or series twice.

1. Alias: Will/Michael - I don't know why but these two being friends just pushed all kinds of buttons for me. They were just too cute when together on screen and I liked how Michael kind of wanted to help Will out because he realised how much Will had pretty much been screwed over just for being a good guy.

2. Gilmore Girls: Sookie/Lorelai - Did I just spell Sookie wrong? I'm wondering now if it's Suki. I've written fic with her in it but I'm having a weird brain freeze. Anyway, everyone should have a Sookie.

3. Supernatural: Bobby/Sam and Dean - Okay, this is cheating a leetle bit and I know the dynamic is different between Bobby and Sam and Bobby and Dean but he tends to lump them into one category of idjit and I just enjoy them.

4. Buffy: Giles/Xander - Again, not sure why but these two were always just hilarious.

5. Angel: Wesley/Gunn - It just worked really well. I hated when they had them fighting over Fred because they just complimented each other to such an awesome degree. A close second was Angel/Wesley. I loved these two when they worked together.

6. The Office - Pam/Karen - It didn't last very long but I could just imagine if there was no Jim, these two would have ended up being friends for a very long time. I really liked Karen.

7. Felicity - Ben/Noel - I suppose you couldn't exactly call it a friendship, but I liked when these two had their random truces and worked together.

8. Farscape - John/Rygel - I think this was the most bizarre, dysfunctional and hilarious relationship ever. A close second was John/Imaginary Scorpy.

9. DH4 - Matt/John - Words cannot describe how much I love these two together. I just found an awesome Matt/John author and have been reliving my love.

10. The West Wing - I can't narrow it down to one relationship but I had to stick this in here because what made me love this show so much was the relationships. Every single one worked for me.
