In fact, I love that whole paragraph: Jack and Sam so weary that they're just letting everything happen around them and Janet being so in-charge and bossy (and I mean that in a good way!) that everyone knew exactly who she was.
And this bit:
"You’d have done the same." Daniel stated simply. His brows knitted for a second and then he grinned at Sam.
"Probably just with a little more... finesse."
This bit had me... flailing, I think you'd describe it. It was just indescribably perfect. The certainty that Daniel has that Sam & Jack would have done the same, this fact/knowledge is as ingrained in him as the act of breathing, and then the wry humour in the last line, both are just so typically SG1. You've created such a wonderful true picture of SG1 and conveyed the indesputable trust and faith that they have in each other.
