I am currently writing a Sam/OFC wing!fic for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
poisontaster and I just realised that about halfway through the story, I'm basically doing to Sam what the SPN writers seem to feel compelled to do. That is, Sam + Girl = horrible man!pain for Sam and doom-ness for the girl.
Oops.
But, I really *like* what I'm writing but am conscious of maybe giving Sam an actual happy ending for once. This story will sit outside the normal arc so I have a little leeway.
Here's what I'm proposing. A choose your own adventure-style story where you can either watch the man!pain or revel in the schmoopy goodness.
