Farscape, bringing families together...

So, I'm reminded how blessed I am when I sit down to dinner with the parents and we watch a couple of Farscape episodes. They are working through my box sets and I remember how much I love the show when I rewatch it... however they sometimes get a little confused and confusing...

Dad: We've seen this one.
Me: It's just the previously bits, it's showing you what you've seen already.
Mum: He died didn't he? (Talking about Crichton)
Me: There's two of him.
Dad: Yeah, remember, there's two.
Mum: The other one was a fake one.
Me: No, they were exactly the same. No one could tell which was the copy.
Mum: But the one left was the copy.
Me: They're clones. They're exactly the same.
Dad: Yeah, the same.
Mum: Ooooh, I hate scorpy.
Me: You're supposed to, he's the bad guy, but he's funny and redeemable.
Mum: I like him better when he's a cartoon. Why couldn't they leave him like that? He's cute like that.
Me: He can't... ( is at a loss for *why* they can't leave him as a cartoon because hey, there *are* puppets)
Mum: Ooooh, I see. She'll have to fall in love with him all over again. (People wonder why I jump around topics without really showing any inclination towards linear thought... this is why!! My parents did this to me.)
Me: Yeah, it's cool.
Mum: There are a lot of ugly aliens in this one.
Me: ... !!
