So, doing a condensed, meme version of the fic year in review because oi! I didn't realise how much I'd written.

I'm doing the review from last year... hoping y'all will give it a go aswell.

My Favourite Story Of The Year

Stargate - Underbelly. Jack/Daniel friendship. Basically, Daniel becomes exactly what Jack always thought he wanted him to and he's left wondering if that is what led directly to Kelowna. It's a little dark, they're both a little broken and you get the feeling that a lot of the trust is gone.

"Whatever it is, I don’t care. I think sometimes it hurts us that we’re friends.”

SPN - A Boy And His Hand. Mostly I like this because I have no idea where it came from. Sentient Severed hand + Winchesters = hilarity.

Sam laughed hard, thumbing tears from his eyes as he approached the grave edge again to see just what had freaked Dean out so much. The laughter died when he saw the hand crabbing its way around the bottom like a large, pink spider.

My Best Story of the Year

I'm just going to skip this one because it's like choosing between puppies when they are all looking at you with those big eyes.

Story Most Underappreciated By The Universe

Again... I'm not sure about this one.

Funnest Story

Basically all of the Lorne/Novak pieces. They are just too cute I want to squeeze them. Starts with Moved To Distraction.

“Um, no. No, you’re fine.” Novak said, the most heartfelt hiccup issuing forth yet which managed to dislodge her and land her on her butt. “It’s just me,” she sighed, knowing that she had just landed in a pile of the greenish goo that had oozed out of the Hopper when she had first opened the access panel. “I’m just… mortifying.”

Sexiest Story

Probably The Blade. John/Rodney fuedal Japanese-inspired AU.

Story With The Single Sexiest Moment

Probably In The Interim because I just love the idea of Daniel showing Jack how to use a weapon as a prelude for...

At Jack’s intrigued look, Daniel relieves Jack of the instrument and moves to his back, looping his arms and the Lineara over Jack's shoulders. In a single fluid movement, he twists the top and bottom sections of the instrument in opposite directions and pulls up. The strings and top pegs came free and Daniel pulls them taught.

“A garrotte?” Jack squeaks, amazed, his chin tilted up and towards Daniel, the string having stopped only a hairs breadth from this throat.

“763 is a tough place. Everything had a weapon hidden in it, and I mean everything.”

Holy crap, that's wrong even for you! Story

I'd probably have to go with A Boy And His Hand again because he... walks the Hand. On a leash.

Story That Shifted My Own Perceptions of the Characters

Um, pretty much anything SPN this year because I was a total Sam!girl and now I love Dean... probably just as much.

Hardest Story To Write

I think every person who participated will agree with me when I say me dark_gate story, Bait and Switch and then when I did managed to write it, it was pretty bad and it took _minxy_ beating it into shape to make me even vaguely happy with it.

Biggest Disappointment

The SG-1 Mummy story because it was a bit crap. Heh. We live and learn.

Biggest Surprise

I'd say Doll House. Who knew turning Dean Winchester into a plushie!Dean would tickle so many... heh.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story

How Being on SG-1 Isn't All Space Babes and High Adventure. I just... I'm going to miss this show.
